ULLA Summer School 2021
Every other year, one of the ULLA member institutions organizes a summer school for PhD students from the 9 partners. The ULLA Summer Schools covers a broad range of research areas in pharmaceutical sciences. Courses, given by lecturers from the ULLA partners, are offered. Participating PhD students, selected by their home institution, follow their preferred courses and present their research during poster sessions. In addition to the academic program, the ULLA Summer Schools are known for their strong social activities. Overall, the ULLA Summer Schools provide a unique opportunity for PhD students to build an international network in pharmaceutical sciences.
Due to the situation related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 ULLA Summer School will be replaced by an online event 6-8 July, organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Uppsala University. This event will include a keynote lecture, parallel courses related to pharmaceutical sciences, an online poster session, and opportunities to meet and socialize online. PhD students at the ULLA member institutions will receive more details on the program and the registration procedure in due time.
A traditional, real-life ULLA Summer School is planned for 2022 in Uppsala.
