Projects and training
The lab is developing molecular imaging technologies for many features in metabolic disease/ oncology:
- Beta cell mass
- Inflammation
- Neuroendocrine tumors
- Fibrosis
- Perfusion/ hypoxia and more.
The lab can provide training in several aspects of radiopharmaceutical development, including:
- Radiochemistry (Gallium-68, Fluorine-18, Carbon-11 etc.)
- In vitro evaluation (autoradiography, cell studies, tissue homogenates)
- In vivo evaluation (biodistribution, imaging, ex vivo autoradiography)
- Preclinical models (small- and large animal models, metabolic disease, xenografts)
- Hybrid imaging modalities (PET, SPECT, MRI, CT)
- Image analysis (Segmentation, modeling, dosimetry)
- Clinical imaging studies (Application procedures, study setup, analysis and reporting)
