Apply for the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society's scholarships no later than 31 October

For full-time researchers, students and those preparing a temporary project, the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society is now announcing several available scholarships. You who are a PhD student or have a doctoral degree can apply for scholarships for conferences, courses, research stays or post-doc stays. The call is for activities starting after January 1, 2024. With a complete application there are great chances to receive funding!

PhD Students and Researchers can apply for a scholarship for participation in conferences and courses with a pharmaceutical focus, as well as for a research stay of up to six months at another university or research environment within or outside Sweden.

Postdocs can apply for a Postdoc grant of a maximum of SEK 600,000 to conduct basic pharmaceutical research for one year (full-time) at a reputable university abroad or in Sweden after completing their doctoral degree, with the possibility of an extension for another year. The scholarship can be applied for living expenses and travel, not for the project's operating funds.

Students can apply for a scholarship for travel expenses in order to conduct a degree project (at least 30 credits) abroad within the field of pharmacy in 2024. Please note that a scholarship can only be applied for travel costs, not for accommodation etc.

In the case of equivalent applications, priority is given to applicants connected to a Swedish university (alternatively active in research at, for example, a Swedish authority or research institute), PhD students and those who have a doctoral degree (does not apply to scholarships for degree work) and members of the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society.
